“Das Bayerische IT-Logistikcluster” and SEP Logistik AG were first jointly represented at LogiMAT 2015. According to press reports the LogiMAT 2015 – the 13th International Trade Fair for Distribution, Materials Handling and Information Flow – was the most successful intralogistics exhibition in LogiMAT history. Compared to last year the number of exhibitors rose by 15 percent to 1,162 from 28 countries. This assumes the LogiMAT in the international intralogistics trade fair landscape pole position.
“Das Bayerische IT-Logistikcluster” and the SEP Logistik AG from the Upper Bavarian Weyarn were represented in this year for the first time with a joint stand in Hall. 5 In the coming year, see the LogiMAT from March 8th to 10th at the Neue Messe Stuttgart. A renewed participation of the Bavarian IT logistics clusters is planned.
Under the head of “Das Bayerische IT-Logistikcluster” concrete projects that set their focus on the themes of “logistics Cloud” and “intralogistics industry 4.0” occur – the current industry trends. Meanwhile, the Bavarian IT Logistics Cluster is one of the industry’s most important initiatives of Bavaria, whose 40 members benefit from the diversity of their skills and create synergies. One focus of the cluster is the initiation and coordination of development projects and collaborations.
With over 30 years of experience, the SEP Logistik AG is a leading manufacturer in intralogistics software and since 2013 a member of “Das Bayerische IT-Logistikcluster”. The field of application of their software solutions ranges from incoming and outgoing goods, on picking and production connection to a forklift control system with 3D navigation. The RELAG System® – SLS (stacker control system) assumes, among other things, the automatic allocation and execution of transfer orders for forklifts. All forklifts are connected via terminals to the SLS, which checks and records the current position, the activities and characteristics of the vehicle. Using these parameters, the truck are given their driving jobs automatically. The goods identification is done by evaluating the exact truck position, a further identification by barcode or RFID is no longer necessary.
